Wapello Rural Water Association offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
Online Bill Payment
If paying your bill online just click the green "Pay Your Bill Now" button. Have your account number ready and follow the prompts; the account number must be entered with all uppercase letters and the hyphen between the two sets of numbers. We accept a wide variety of Credit Cards. Please Note: there is a $1.95 Paymentus Charge for using this service.
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Automatic Bank Draft
With the WRWA free Direct Auto Payment Program, customers can simplify monthly bill paying, while saving time and money having their water bill automatically withdrawn from their financial institution. To sign up for the Direct Payment program, an application must be completed and returned with a voided check. (please scroll down to the bottom of the page to print out the form) The voided check will provide WRWA the information needed to set up a direct payment account. Customers associated with the Direct Payment system will continue to receive a monthly bill, but it will state “Direct Payment will deduct on the 15th of the month.” If the deduction date falls on a weekend or holiday, the account will be debited on the next business day. All customers will receive their bills on or around the 1st of the month and should have ample time to look over their bill and plan for the automatic payment. If there is a problem with your bill you will need to contact the WRWA billing department.
Payment Drop-off Location
Due to COVID 19 our office is currently closed. You may drop your bill off at either one of the drop boxes at the office; one is located in the parking lot, and the other one is located to the right of the door connected to the building. We accept cash, check, or money orders.
Payment Through Your Bank
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
Payment By Phone
If paying your bill over the phone you can call 1-833-347-2171. You will need to follow the prompts provided to enter your account number. If you have any issues you can contact Support at 1-800-420-1663. Please Note: there is a $1.95 Paymentus Charge for using this service.
